The Company’s head office is located in Taipei with 13 branch offices, and 25 liaison offices set up throughout Taiwan, forming an island-wide network to develop business and provide quality customer services.
Business activities include Motor Insurance, Fire Insurance, Engineering Insurance, Marine Insurance, Casualty and Liability Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, Health Insurance and Others. The Company’s direct premium income in 2024 totaled NT$13,656.07 million and ranked 8th with a market share of 5.05%.
Union’s credit rating has assigned twAA with a “stable” by Taiwan Ratings Corporation in 2024 , and A- with a “stable” by Standard & Poor’s in 2024. Also, A.M. Best has assigned A- (Excellent) to Union in 2024.
